Betreff: No wonder "prenatal" and "parental" are anagrams.
If you don’t exercise control in the former step, you end up having to turn on the latter kind of controls.
The ex and I failed to google all our baby-name ideas back in 1999, and so wound up with a BOFHlet whose name is the SI prefix for 10^12, and a Chadic language spoken in northeastern Nigeria, but also the first name of a couple actresses who we’d probably prefer she not emulate.
And so, this morning’s chat with the BOFHlet (who lives with her mom and stepdad during the school year):
Her: i just got parental cxontrols put on my computer
Me : oh? the computer as a whole?
Her: You know why i got parentall controls?
Me : No… but I could ask your mom and Znk why.
Her: I GOOGLED MY NAME!
Me : You didn’t google “Gren Ovepunyy” with quotes around it, did you.
Her: no
Me : *sigh* Yeah, when you were born, Mommy and I didn’t know that
anyone else in the world was named Gren. ![]()
Her: silly you!
Oft geht blöd, aber für Tera ist das wahrscheinlich eher nicht so super.
